Content

Description

Body length ranges from 40 to 110 cm. Weight - up to 2.5 kg. Elongated snout with noticeable concavity. Tail fin rounded. Body color is olive brown to gray or rusty with blue lines and spots.

Spread

Tropical Osbekia is common in the tropics and subtropics of most seas and oceans [5] . Animals live alone or in pairs, most often in the lagoons or on the outer slope of coral reefs at a depth of 3 to 120 m. Occasionally found in the open sea under moving objects or algae.

Power

Fish feed on algae, smelt and invertebrates such as hydroids , gorgonians , sea ​​anemones, and tunicates .
