Content

Biography

Born March 30, 1940 in the village of Reshetilovka (now Poltava region , Ukraine ). He graduated from high school with a silver medal. Worked on road construction, a local shoe factory worker. He entered the Faculty of Journalism of KSU named after T.G.Shevchenko , who graduated in 1966. A fifth-year student, after creative practice, received the post of head of journalism and essay in the newspaper Literaturna Ukraina (Russian Literary Ukraine ). Later he headed the editorial board of Romani i Povisti of the Dnipro fiction publishing house (Rus. Dnepr), served as editor-in-chief of the military publishing house Vіstі, worked in the English-language journal Ukraine, the newspaper Democratic Ukraine.

He died on November 8, 2009 . He was buried in Kiev at the Northern cemetery .

Literary work

The beginning of his original literary work falls on his student years.

Alexey Dmitrenko is the author of poems, essays, essays, short stories, short stories, novels and more than two dozen original books. He became the creator of a special Ukrainian literary genre - artistic documentary, based on reliable life facts supported by documents.
