Located 5 km south of the city of Torzhok . To the east of the village is the Torzhok-Staritsa highway, and to the west the Torzhok-Rzhev railway. In the north, the village adjoins the village of Dubrovka .
The population according to the 2002 census is 50 people (22 men, 28 women).
The suburban position contributes to some growth of the village.
History
In 1859, in the treasury village of Yakutino, 19 yards, 170 residents [1] . At the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th centuries, the village belonged to the parish of the village of Semenovskoye, Novotorzhsky volost, Novotorzhsky district, Tver province . In 1884, there were 23 courtyards in the village, 171 residents.
In 1997 - 20 households, 35 residents.
