Name Origin
There is an opinion that the name of the village came from the surname “ Tsayun ”. It’s not exactly known where the surname “Tsayun” appeared in Belarus. But in Belarus, people with this surname are found only in the city of Volozhin . Perhaps from the Russian "tyun". In the Lithuanian Grand Duchy in the 14-15 centuries, the governors of volosts (later governors) were called tiuns , as well as peasants - elders of the princely estates.
History
It was founded in the 1920s [1] . Until November 1939 in Poland. Previously, the village was part of the Belokoretsky Village Council. By the decision of the Minsk Oblast Executive Committee of 06.25.1976, it was abolished and Tsayuny transferred to the Volozhinsky Village Council [4] .
