History
It was created in 1931 at the Votkinsk Machine-Building Plant (now - OJSC "Votkinsk Plant" ). She performed under the names "Vanguard" - 1936-1938, "Zenith" - 1938-1957, "Labor" - 1957-1966, "Machine Builder" - 1966-1972, "Mashzavod" - 1972/73. Since 1973 it has been called the “Banner”. Represented DSO "Vanguard" (1936-1938), "Zenith" (1938-1957 and 1966-1987), "Labor" (1957-1966).
In 1936 she became the champion of the Kirov region , in 1937 she was the second winner of the championship of the Kirov region . Since the 1938 season, after Votkinsk was included in the Udmurt Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, she began to play in the championship and Republic Cup. Then she made her debut in the All-Union competitions, taking part in the zonal tournament of the USSR Cup. From 1954 to 1974 (with short interruptions) she represented Udmurtia in the championships of the RSFSR. In 1975, she first played in the second group of the USSR championship. Having taken sixth place in the final tournament of the second group of the USSR Championship in 1976, she was nevertheless included in the first league by the decision of the Russian Ice Hockey Federation.
The biggest achievement of the team was the entry into the major league of the Russian Championship in 1998. Led by V. I. Nikiforov, she confidently won the first league final tournament at home. The championship was well conducted by V. Vetoshkin, V. Antsiferov, O. Lozhkin, A. Lyubimov, S. Mazharuk, A. and M. Furina, A. Astapov, E. Budilov, V. Zhuykov, team veteran N. Vakhrushev acted effectively.

- In the first league of the USSR championships, she played in 1977-1992 (505 matches: 170 wins, 74 draws, 261 losses; goals 1538-2000). The best result is the sixth place in the final tournament in 1978. The record holder in the number of matches played and the best scorer is N. Vakhrushev (340, 322 goals).
- In the second group of class “A” the USSR championships played in 1975 and 1976 (12 wins and 12 losses; balls 104-87). The best result - sixth place in the final tournament (1976).
- She took part in the USSR Cup in 1938, 1939, 1984-1992 (23 wins, 1 draw, 20 losses; goals 191-201).
- Sixteen times in 1954-1974 she played in the championships of the RSFSR, where she did not rise above third place in zone tournaments.
- She took part in the Cup of the RSFSR. The best result was reaching the semifinal of the Volga region in 1947.
- The All-Union Central Council of Trade Unions participated in the Cup in 1950, 1951 and 1953. The best result was the fourth place in 1953.

- She played in the major league of the Russian Championship in 1999, where she took 22nd place (4 wins and 22 losses; goals 61-164). The record holders in the number of matches played are A. Astapov, V. Zhuykov and A. Furin (26 each), the best scorer is V. Zhuykov (19 goals).
- In the first league of the championships of Russia, she played in 1993-1998 and 2000-2008 (451 matches: 281 wins, 34 draws, 136 defeats; goals 1917-1170). The record holder in the number of matches played is A. Furin (383), the best scorer is V. Zhuykov (224 goals).
- She participated in the Cup of Russia in 1993-1997 and 1999 (14 victories and 8 defeats; balls 103-71).
