Alberich of Ostia ( Albéric , also known as Albéric de Beauvais, Alberic of Ostia ) is a catholic church figure of the 12th century. [1] Took the vow of the Benedictine order at Cluny Monastery . In 1124 he became the abbot of Vezle . In the consistory in 1138 proclaimed cardinal-bishop of Ostia. In 1139 he was a papal legate in the British Isles and contributed to the conclusion of peace between England and Scotland .
