Aleksei Igorevich Mazhayev (born October 14, 1972 ) is a Russian music journalist, music critic, columnist, expert in the field of Russian pop and rock music [1] . She is the editor-in-chief of the news feed and the host of the “Reviews” column of the InterMedia news agency. Author of interviews with musicians and publications in various publications on topics of Russian show business.

Biography
Born in 1972 in Moscow . In 1994, he graduated from the Moscow State Academy of Printing Arts (now the University of Printing) with a degree in Printing Technology [2] . From 1994 to 1995, he worked as the director of the computer center of the Russian-South African newspaper New Bridge [2] . At the same time, he took up journalism, publishing in the publications Arguments and Facts , “I am young”, “Night rendezvous” and others. Since 1996, he has been a correspondent, later the head of the pop department - and rock music, deputy chief editor of the news agency InterMedia [3] . In 2004, he worked as deputy chief editor of Play magazine [2] . In 2012, he quit the agency InterMedia .
In 2013, Mazhaev's reviews began to appear on the InterMedia website again, and since October he took the post of editor-in-chief.

Since 1996 [3] the works of Alexey Mazhaev have been published in news feeds and other publications of the InterMedia news agency, in particular, in the Russian Music Yearbook.
