Biography
Kurt Meyer was born on April 6, 1962, began performing in a bobsled on a professional level in the mid-1980s and immediately showed good results, as a result of which he got into the Swiss national team as an accelerator. In particular, he won the 1986 World Cup in German KΓΆnigssee , in addition, took first place among the fours in the European Championship. Thanks to a series of successful performances, in 1988 he was invited to defend the country's honor at the Calgary Olympic Games, where he won gold in the four-seater crew of the pilot Ekkehard Fasser .
After a slight recession that lasted several years, Aklin reappeared in 1993, when he won the gold medal at the World Championships in Austrian Igls, and also won the second gold at the European Championships, both medals in four. I went with the pilot Gustav Weder to the 1994 Games in Lillehammer , as a result, their four finished second, and the athletes won silver medals.
