The current coat of arms of the Gremyachinsky district was approved by the decision of the Zemsky Assembly of the Gremyachinsky municipal district of February 22, 2007 No. 317 “On the establishment of the coat of arms of the Gremyachinsky municipal district” and entered into the State Heraldic Register of the Russian Federation with assignment of registration No. 3087.

Symbols
- a pickaxe and an ax symbolize that in the territory of the Gremyachinsky district in the early 1940s the Gremyachinsky coal deposit was explored and the main tool of the miners' labor at that time were picks and shovels;
- the green field symbolizes the development of the forest industry in the district.
History
By the decision of the Gremyachinsky City Council of August 30, 2002 No. 186 “On the Emblem of the City of Gremyachinsk”, the emblem of the city of Gremyachinsk was approved. , Gremyachinskoye City , Yubileyninskogo , Shumikhinsky and Usvinskogo rural settlements as symbols in the manufacture of seals and forms bodies of municipalities to make their own symbols.
