Content
History
The village arose in 1599 near Belgorod and was named after Prince Melikhov, who was at war at that time with the Turks. Later it entered the Melikhovsky volost of the Belgorod district.
By 1857, a parish school was built in the village, where the deacon of the Epiphany Church taught literacy.
In 1880, a zemstvo school with a 3-year education was organized in the village.
During World War II, the village was occupied by the Germans in November 1941 . On July 25, 1943, the troops of the 94th Guards Rifle Division liberated the villages of Myasoedovo and Melikhovo.

Famous People
- One of the streets of the village bears the name of the Hero of the Soviet Union - Kushlyansky , who fought for this village in the Great Patriotic War .
