Vivon is a county (kun) in Chagando province, North Korea . The county is bordered by China (in the north) along the Yalu River , the counties of Manpo and Sijun in the north, Kang and Songan in the east, Jeonghon in the southeast, Kopun in the south and west, Chosan in the west.

Geography
The relief is mountainous, the main massif of the Gangnam mountains lies in the southeast of the county. The highest point is Songjoxan (숭 적산, 1984 m). High mountains and elevations are along the border with the districts of Kopun and Chosan. The climate is continental, with cold winters and an average annual temperature of + 6 ℃.
Economy
The basis of the local economy are logging and agriculture. Due to the small area of arable land, rice is grown only on private farms. Soy, corn and potatoes are grown. In September 2005, North Korea announced the completion of the second power plant in Vivon to supply electricity to the forest camp.
