Nikolai Loginovich Loginov - Soviet military leader who commanded the 139th Infantry Division during the years of World War II , Colonel . In August 1941 he was captured by Germany. He was released in 1945 , from 1946 went into reserve.

Biography
Born in 1896 in with. Dolgovo, Rzhevsky District, Kalinin Region. Russian. Member of the CPSU (b). [one]
Prior to being drafted into the army, he lived in the city of Leningrad.
From February 13, 1933 to July 2, 1936 he was the commander of the 1st Collective Farm Cavalry Regiment [2] .
From July 2, 1936 to 1940 he was an assistant command of the 15th Cavalry Kuban Division [3] .
In 1938 he became a holder of the medal "XX years of the Workers 'and Peasants' Red Army" [4] .
March 22, 1941 was appointed commander of the 139th Infantry Division as part of the 37th Infantry Corps . Before the start of World War II, units of the division were located on the territory of Ukraine and the Rostov Region in Chertkovo . On June 17, 1941, a cryptogram was received from the command of the 37th Rifle Corps demanding that on June 18 a small formation near Chertkovo speak in the area of the city of Rogatin for training. The request to involve in the exercises parts of the division involved in the implementation of defense work and the protection of facilities in Ukraine from the command of the rifle corps was refused [5] .
As part of the 6th Army on the Southwestern Front, he commanded a division in the battle of Uman . On August 8, 1941, in the battles for the city of Przemysl, Colonel Loginov was captured in German captivity [6] .
In captivity he was in camps and prisons: Zamosc, prison of St. Cross, the fortress of Wülzburg , Nuremberg , Hamzalburg. [one]
He was released in 1945 [7]. The test took place in the 32nd reserve rifle regiment of the 12th reserve rifle division.
September 11, 1946 was transferred to the reserve in the city of Rostov-on-Don by order of the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs No. 0654. [8]
On December 7 and 8, 1966, he took part in the conference “Combat Operations of the South-Western Front Troops on the Right-Bank Ukraine in the Initial Period of the Great Patriotic War (June – August 1941)”, organized by the Military Scientific Society at the Lviv District House of Officers [7] .
