Biography
He entered the service on August 20, 1872 as a cadet of ordinary rank in the 2nd Konstantinovsky School .
Issued by ensign (08/07/1874) in the Caucasus Grenadier Artillery Brigade [1] . Second Lieutenant (10.25.1875). In 1876 he was sent to the Transcaspian region . He participated in the 1876 campaign against the Tekinians. Lieutenant (12/9/1876).
Member of the Russian-Turkish war of 1877-1878 . Headquarters Captain (12/18/1878).
A participant in the campaign of 1879-80 against the Tekinians .
Captain (04.24.1888). Lieutenant Colonel (10/01/1897). Commander of the 1st Battery of the Caucasian Rifle Artillery Division (01.10.1897-01.01.1898). The commander of the 6th battery of the Caucasian Grenadier Artillery Brigade (01/01/1898-27.06.1904).
Member of hostilities in China 1900-1901. He commanded a machine gun company in the South Manchurian detachment. Colonel (09/14/1900; for military distinctions).
Member of the Russo-Japanese War of 1904-1905 Commander of the 1st Division of the 35th Artillery Brigade (06.22.1904-28.05.1905). Participated in battles near Liaoyang , on the river. Shahe . He was sent to Vladivostok to form the 10th East Siberian Rifle Artillery Brigade, which he was appointed commander (05/28/1905-02.07.1905). He returned to the theater of operations. From 2.7.1905 - commander of the 3rd artillery brigade (02.07.1905-23.11.1908).
Major General (Project 23.11.1905; Art. 26.11.1904; for military distinctions) with approval in office. Head of artillery of the 11th army corps ( 11/ 23/1908-06.02.1910). Lieutenant General (11.26.1908; for distinction). Head of artillery of the Grenadier Corps (02/06/24/07/1910). From 07.24.1910 the artillery inspector of the Grenadier Corps (07.24.1910-31.12.1913). 12/31/1913 appointed head of the Officer Artillery School , supervised the preparation of the middle command link of Russian artillery. He used the reputation of a knowing gunner in the army.
Member of the First World War. 10/05/1914 appointed to his old post as inspector of artillery of the Grenadier Corps. 04/23/1915 became the head of the 42nd Infantry Division , but already 10/05/1915 for the third time returned to the Grenadier Corps. 03/28/1916 appointed artillery inspector of the armies of the Northern Front . General from artillery (12/06/1916; for military distinctions).
