The current coat of arms of the Kungursky region was approved by the decision of the Zemsky Assembly of the Kungursky municipal district of December 25, 2008 No. 175 and entered into the State Heraldic Register of the Russian Federation with the assignment of registration No. 5583.

History
The first official coat of arms of the Kungursky municipal district was approved by decision of the Legislative Assembly of the Kungursky municipal district of January 26, 1999 No. 12 “On the coat of arms of the Kungursky district”.
Description of the coat of arms: “The coat of arms of the Kungursky region is a shield divided in half horizontally. In the upper part there is a silver bear walking to the right, placed on a scarlet (red) background. On his back is the gospel in a gold frame with an image of an eight-pointed silver cross directly crowning the gospel. A bear stands on a green dividing strip. In the lower part of the shield in a blue field there is a golden cornucopia with ears of different bread streaming out of it. It is allowed to frame the entire shield (coat of arms) with a wreath of oak leaves or ears, possibly with a combination of leaves and ears. ”
