The current coat of arms of Zvezdny was approved by Decision of the Duma ZATO Zvezdny dated August 17, 2010 No. 59 and entered in the State Heraldry Register of the Russian Federation No. 6388.

| The emblem is a quadrangular, with rounded lower corners, pointed at the tip of a laser-shaped heraldic shield with a rising star about eight rays, longitudinally separated by silver and gold, of which indirect rays are shorter and the lower ray is twice as long |
History
The first official coat of arms of ZATO Zvezdny was approved by the decision of the village Duma of ZATO Zvyozdny of the Perm Region of May 26, 1998. Description of the coat of arms: "The coat of arms of the Closed Administrative District of the Star City of Perm Region is an azure heraldic shield, against which is placed an image of an eight-pointed star, which is a combined image of two four-pointed stars - large and small; the rays of a large star are directed vertically and horizontally of the heraldic shield; upper , the left and right rays of a large star are equal in length and abut against the upper, left and right edges of the heraldic shield (respectively); the lower ray of a large star is two times longer than the rest of its rays and up is radiated to the lower edge of the heraldic shield; the rays of a small star are directed along the diagonals of the heraldic shield; all the rays of a small star are half as long as the upper, left and right rays of a large star; both stars (large and small) are facet, t. e. each of their rays is divided in half along the longitudinal axis, the left half of each ray is golden and the right half is silver; the heraldic shield is crowned with the inscription - STAR (in capital letters in azure); the field labeled STAR is separated from the field of the heraldic shield by a silver stripe. "
