Life and career
Jeanette Nolan began her career in 1932 on the radio. She made her film debut in 1948 in the movie Macbeth , which was based on the play of the same name. After she starred in several films in the noir genre. In 1953, she appeared in the movie " Extreme Heat ". Nolan appeared in total in more than two hundred films and television series, primarily in Westerns. She was nominated four times for the Emmy Award: in 1964, 1966, 1974 and 1978 [1] .
Nolan starred until her death. Her last appearance on the screen was in the Robert Redford film “The Horse Whisperer ” in 1998.
Jeanette Nolan died on June 5, 1998 in Los Angeles, California from a stroke at the age of 86 years. [2]
