Long [1] [4] is the lake of the Myshetsky Lake Group on the Smolensk-Moscow Upland . It occupies a moraine basin and is distinguished by clean water. It is located on the territory of the Gabovsky rural settlement in the southern part of the Dmitrovsky district of the Moscow region , near the settlements of Rybaki and Ozeretskoye [4] [2] . Surrounded by the Klinsko-Dmitrov ridge . A lake of glacial origin, with the Round Lake is connected by the Meshcheriha River [1] (Alba [4] [3] ), which flows from the Long Lake from the southeast side [3] [1] .

The area is 0.4 km 2 , the greatest depth is 5.2 m. Roach , carp , perch and pike are found in the lake [4] . In winter, the lake is skiing and snowmobiling . There is a boat station. In the summer, there is a rental of boats, catamarans.
It has an oblong shape, elongated from the southeast to northwest [4] . On the southeastern shore of the lake are the recreation center "Lake Dolgoe" of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs , a recreation center at Sheremetyevo Airport and a cottage village. The rest of the coast is swampy and overgrown with forest.
The lake is allegorically depicted on the flag of the Gabovsky rural settlement of Dmitrovsky district [6] .
