Savinskoye deposit - a deposit of clays and limestones used for cement production. Located near the village of Savinsky Plesetsk district of the Arkhangelsk region . The state reserve has taken into account three sections of the Savinsky limestone deposit - Ogarkovsky, Shestovsky, Left-Bank sections; and two sections of the Savinsky clay deposit - sections of Sheleksa, Timme. The plots are named after nearby settlements - Shestovo and Sheleksa .
Field Operation
The only operator of the Savinskoye field is Savinskoye open pit mine LLC . As of April 2011, the organization has three licenses for the right to use the subsoil of the Savinsky limestone deposit [1] :
- for the extraction of limestone for cement production on the Ogarkovsky site of the Savinsky deposit;
- for the exploration and extraction of limestone for cement production on the Left Bank section of the Savinsky deposit;
- for the extraction of limestone for cement production at block XVI-C1 of the Shestovsky block of the Savinsky deposit.
Until 2006, the Ogarkovsky site of the Savinsky limestone deposit and the Sheleks site of the Savinsky clay deposit constituted the raw material base of Savinsky Cement Plant CJSC. Since 2007, the Savinsky quarry began mining clay of the Sheleksa-Yuzhnaya deposit , and in 2008 the Sheleksa site was mothballed due to the expiration of the license.
The balance reserves of limestone as of January 1, 2011 [2] amount to 106 066 thousand tons, of which 65 408 thousand tons are in the unallocated fund.
Sites of the Savinsky limestone deposit are being prepared for industrial development: the Left-Bank section (located at the exploration stage) and block XVI — C1 of the Shestovsky block (at the stage of preparing the technical development project).
