Location: southwestern part of the Rybinsk district
Borders:
- in the northeast it borders with the urban district of Rybinsk
- in the east it borders with the Volga rural settlement
- in the southeast it borders with the Bolsheselsky municipal district
- in the south-west it borders with the Myshkinsky municipal district
- in the west, the border runs along the Volga River
- in the north it borders with Glebovsky, Tikhmenevsky and Sudoverfsky rural settlements

History

Pokrovsky rural settlement was established on January 1, 2005 in accordance with the law of the Yaroslavl region No. 65-z of December 21, 2004 "On the names, boundaries and status of municipalities of the Yaroslavl region" ^[3] , the boundaries of the rural settlement are established in the administrative boundaries of Pokrovsky and Nikolo- Kormsky rural districts .
