Fulton Street is one of the 4 stations of the complex in the New York subway , located on the IRT Lexington Avenue Line , and is served by routes 4 round the clock and 5 all the time except late at night. It is represented by two side platforms serving two ways.
The station was the first to extend the line, and from January 16 to June 12, 1905 was the new southern end point of the line. Only two routes serve it, and not 4, as at Brooklyn Bridge station, since two local routes from it go to the City Hall station abandoned since 1945, forming a turn, and only two express routes should go to Brooklyn according to the plan.
