The source is on the northern slopes of the Taaga ridge. In the upper reaches is characterized by perennial ice . It flows first to the north, then turns south. Since 1934, hydrological observations have been conducted. It flows into Zeya about 25 km above the village of Bomnak , at the mouth it is divided into several branches.
