Biography
Born in the village of Berezniki (Pertanur) of the Volga region of the Republic of Mari El in a peasant family.
In 1948 he graduated from Pomar High School.
In 1952 he graduated from the Yoshkar-Ola School of Music and Theater named after I. S. Klyuchnikov-Palantai, specializing in artist.
From 1952 to 1957 he studied at the theater department of the Leningrad State Theater Institute. A. Ostrovsky , majoring in theater studies.
During his studies, Nikolai Fedorovich also worked as a freelance correspondent for Leningrad Truth .
He worked as an artist of the mimic ensemble of the Leningrad Academic Small Opera House .
He died on February 18, 2004 in Yoshkar-Ola. He was buried at Turunovsky cemetery.

Creativity
Miklai Rybakov began his literary work with the writing of satirical scenes and humorous stories. In 1955, in the magazine “ Onchyko ”, the story “ Kuzymy piry pashtynam ” (“How I killed a wolf”) was published. Humorous works were published in the collection " Mick-Mek " was released in 1959. Dramatic activity began in the 1960s. In 1960, on the stage of the Mari Drama Theater. M. Shketan was staged a play based on his play Kok Erge (Two Sons), which describes collective farm life. His subsequent plays were devoted to modernity. The premieres of the performances based on the plays Toshto tang (An Old Friend), Tomasha (Vanity), Keremet in Korea , (At the Devil's Gully) and others. In the late 1960s and early 1970s, M. Rybakov brought great success to his dramatic trilogy “ Saltak vate ” (“Soldier”), “ Kinde ” (“Bread”), “ Onton ”, which tells about the life of the Mari village in the military and post-war years. For forty-odd years of creative activity, Miklai Rybakov has written more than twenty plays. All of them successfully walked on the stage of the theater. M. Shketan: “Apple tree at the ravine”, “Old friend”, “Morkinsky tunes”, “Trouble” and many others. The most significant work of Nikolai Fedorovich is the dramatic trilogy “The Soldier”, “Bread”, “Onton”. For this trilogy, he was awarded the prize of the Mari Komsomol named after Olyk Ipay . He has published more than ten one-act plays. He is also widely known as a prose writer - collections of his stories are a bibliographic rarity. For children, fairy tales “The Magic Gusli”, “The Sword of Onar” were written. His works are published in Russian, Tatar, Bashkir, Chuvash, Finnish, Hungarian, Kyrgyz languages. The artistic essay “Mari Land” (“Map RuMup”) was published as a separate book in Hungary in 1973.
