Plant number 50

In 1928–1931, workshops of the Central Bridge Base were organized in Yaroslavl. According to the order of the People's Commissariat of Railways dated May 9, 1941, No. с / 51цз, plant number 50 was established on the basis of the workshops, which produced batch-type span structures , metal structures of loading and unloading platforms , and assembly bridge equipment .

During the Great Patriotic War, the plant was actively developed, the company produced bridge structures and assembly equipment for military reconstruction work in railway transport. New products: multi- axle trusses , 200 tons lifting capacity hoist, cantilever cranes .

After the war, the plant's capacity was 3,500 tons per year of metal bridge structures and 300 tons of various metal products.

In 1970, the production capacity of the plant was 5,500 tons of steel structures per year. The main products of those years: metal bridge structures for railway and road bridges under construction; special cranes and crane structures for transport construction; experienced steel structures - bridge and transport-lifting - for transport construction; other metal structures for construction.

The production capacity is 20 thousand tons of bridge metal structures and supporting parts per year.
