“Fanfare” ( Dutch: Fanfare ) is a 1958 black and white comedy film by the Dutch director Bert Hanstra , nominated for the Golden Palm Branch (1959). The second most popular film of Dutch production in the Netherlands [1] .

Story
In a small Dutch village, a dispute takes place inside a brass band, which leads to its division into two warring groups, each of which is fighting for a state grant. The satirical side of the comedy is set off by the romantic story of the daring beauty and the only policeman in the village.
