Geography
Located in the north of the country, near the border with Guinea . The administrative center of Nimba County . The absolute height is 671 meters above sea level [3] .
Economics
The basis of the economy is rubber production and rice cultivation. There is a station on an inactive railway line going from the iron mines to the port of Buchanan , on the coast. There is no organized public transport. There are 4 high schools, several primary and secondary schools.
Population
According to data for 2013, the population is 12,008 people [4] . Main ethnic groups: mano, dan and mandinka .
