Keyshia Cole (born October 15, 1981) is an American singer working in the rhythm and blues genre and songwriter. To date, Cole has released four music albums, two of which have received platinum status . From 2006 to 2008, a reality show about Keisha’s life was broadcast on BET .

Biography
Keisha Cole was born and raised in Auckland , California . She was brought up in a foster family from two years old. At five, she showed singing abilities. At age 12, Cole fell into the musical environment, meeting MC Hammer and Tupac Shakur . At the age of 18, Keisha moved to Los Angeles to make music. In 2002, she signed with A&M Records . Cole's Kanye West , Jadakiss, and Yves have worked on Cole's debut album. On June 21, 2005, The Way It Is went on sale and successfully debuted on the American chart, immediately taking sixth position. On October 13, 2005 the album exceeded the mark of 500 thousand copies sold and received the status of “gold”, and on February 15, 2006 it became “platinum” with a million copies sold.
Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is reality show, which began in 2006 on the BET channel, worked on Keisha’s second album. In February 2007, the single Last Night of the Cole duet with Diddy was released, which was included in the albums of both artists. In July, Keisha attended the hit single Let It Go , which Cole recorded with Lil Kim and Missy Eliot . The single topped the American hit parade Hot R & B / Hip-Hop Songs and reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 . Thus, this single was the most successful for Keisha. this track was originally recorded for Lil 'Kim's album, Beat Of Life Vol.1 , but then Keisha asked Kim for permission to include this track on her album. Keisha Cole's second album, titled Just Like You , was released on September 25, 2007. He topped the Top R & B / Hip-Hop Albums chart and reached second place on the general chart , by the end of the year the album became platinum. The album was also nominated for a Grammy Award in the nomination "The best album of modern rhythm and blues."
On October 28, 2008, the first single from Cole’s third album was released, dubbed Playa Cardz Right and notable for containing the vocals of Tupac Shakur, presumably recorded a few days before his death. On December 16 of the same year, the album A Different Me was released, ranking second on the American chart and the first among hip-hop and rhythm and blues albums. This album received the status of "golden". On December 21, 2010, Cole released her fourth album, Calling All Hearts , which reached number 9 on the US chart.
Personal life
In 2011-2017, Keisha was married to the Cleveland Cavaliers basketball player Daniel Gibson [1] [2] . The former spouses have a son - Daniel Hiram Gibson Jr. (born 02.03.2010) [3] . In October 2012, a reality show began on Cole and Gibson's life called Keyshia & Daniel: Family First [4] .
