Biography
Born on July 21, 1921 [1] in the village of Semerino, Velsky district, Vologda province (now in the Nizovsky rural settlement of the Velsky district of the Arkhangelsk region ). After graduating from a seven-year school in 1937, he moved to Arkhangelsk , where he entered a driving school and in 1939 began working as a driver at a power plant.
From 1940 to 1951 he served in the Soviet Army as a car driver, participated in the Great Patriotic War . He finished the war in Berlin [2] . He was awarded the medals " For Courage ", " For the Defense of Moscow ".
After demobilization, V.V. Nechaevsky began working as a driver in the Velsk motorcade, where he went from an ordinary employee to a director. Heading the car enterprise, he energetically took up the correction of urban transport routes. The auto-assistant headed by him served transport from the railway throughout the Velsky district and adjacent regions of the Arkhangelsk and Vologda regions .
March 3, 1957 V.V. Nechaevsky was elected Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Velsky City Council of Workers' Deputies. With him, preparations began for asphalting the streets of the city. At the same time, Velsk was significantly enriched with greenery and flower beds. Wooden sidewalks were built, central streets were paved. The city was recognized as the cleanest and greenest in the area.
In 1961, V.V. Nechaevsky was nominated as the director of the Velsky state farm . Over the years of his 13-year directorship, the Velsky state farm has become a hotbed of livestock breeding. People from all over the Arkhangelsk region came to learn from them. In just 10 years 12 cattle yards, concrete silo trenches, grain flows and granaries, greenhouse towns, a well-maintained warm garage for 40 cars, insulated equipment service points and much more were built. Near the cattle-breeding complexes, whole villages were built for cattle-breeders. Already in March 1966, V.V. Nechaevsky was awarded the Order of Lenin for successes in the development of animal husbandry.
Excellent seeds and advanced agricultural technology provided the state farm with high yields. The state farm grew its grass seeds, and since 1968 began to expand and cultivate long-term pastures. Previously, the dignity of haylage was evaluated here in the region. In 30 concrete silo trenches, more than 7 tons were laid for each cow. Agrochemical laboratory investigated the quality of all feed. In 1969, a crop rotation system was introduced. State farm "Velsky" was one of the few in the field of seed farms and farms - suppliers of pedigree young Kholmogory breed .
Thanks to the constructed film greenhouses, the city began to receive fresh cucumbers, and then tomatoes.
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of April 8, 1971 , Vasily Vasilievich Nechaevsky was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor with the Order of Lenin and the Gold Medal " Hammer and Sickle ". The state farm was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labor .
In 1974 he became director of the Velsk State Technical College [3] .
He died on February 8, 1977 . He was buried in a cemetery in the village of Terebino (in the Nizovsky rural settlement). In July 1977, one of the streets in the central part of Velsk on which he lived (Svobody Street) was named after Nechayevsky. July 21, 2010 at the house number 3 on the street Nechaevsky was installed a memorial plaque [4] .
