Konstantin Konstantinovich Matveev (born in Riga in 1954) - Latvian lawyer , lawyer and teacher, associate professor of the Baltic International Academy [1] . In 1991 [2] —1993. deputy of the Latvian Armed Forces from the 44th district of Riga, was a member of the CPSU ; member of the “Equality” faction, worked in the committee on legislative issues [3] . Published in the journal “Jurista vārds” [4] , Baltic Law Journal [5] . In April 2008, he spoke at a meeting of the Petition Committee of the European Parliament [6] , being the representative of more than 16,000 signatories of the petition on the situation of non-citizens of Latvia [7] .
