The Dirty Games ( The Company You Keep ) is a thriller by producer and director Robert Redford based on a script by Lem Dobbs , based on the novel of the same name by Neil Gordon . The film premiered on September 6, 2012 at the 69th Venice Film Festival [1] . The painting was also shown at the Toronto Film Festival on September 9, 2012. [2]

Story

At the center of the story, widower and single father Jim Grant, a former Weathermen activist wanted for bank robbery and murder, has been a lawyer and has been hiding from the FBI for more than thirty years. He has to run after his true identity is revealed by young reporter Ben Shepard. Grant must find his former mistress Mimi, a man who can clear his name before the FBI catches him. Otherwise, he will lose everything, including his 11-year-old daughter Isabel.
