Keenan ap Maredid ( Wall. Cynan ap Maredudd ; executed in 1295) - the son of Maredid , ruler of Drysluin . His brother, Rhys ap Maredid , was the leader of the uprising in 1283-1291 and was executed on June 2, 1292 [1] . In 1294, an uprising began under the leadership of Madog of Guinea . Keenan was among those who sided with Madog. Keenan participated in the sieges of the castle of Built and Kefnllis. In the summer of 1295, Keenan was captured, taken to Hereford and executed there. His daughter Gwenllian married Griffith Lloyd.
