Kerron Stephon Clement ( born Kerron Stephon Clement , born October 31, 1985 in Port of Spain , Trinidad and Tobago ) is an American athlete who runs 400 meters and 400 meters hurdles. Two-time Olympic champion, 4-time world champion. Former world record holder at a distance of 400 meters indoors.

Born in the city of Port of Spain , Trinidad and Tobago . In 1998, he moved with his family to Texas , USA . In June 2004, received American citizenship. From 2003 to 2007 he studied at the University of Florida . At the 2004 World Junior Championships, he won 2 gold medals; became the champion in the 400 meters hurdles , and also with the new world record he became the world champion in the 4x400 meters relay . At the 2005 National Student Association Championships in the 400-meter race, he set a world record of 44.57, surpassing the achievement of the legendary Michael Johnson . In 2005 and 2006, he became the champion of the United States in running 400 meters s / b. In 2007, he took 2nd place in the 400m race at the DN Galan international competitions in Stockholm , setting a personal record of 44.48.

Failed at the 2011 World Cup . In the 400 meters hurdles, I was able to reach the semifinals, in which I took last place with a score of 52.11.
