(1202) Marina ( Latin Marina ) is a small asteroid on the outer part of the main belt , which is part of the Hilda family . It was discovered on September 13, 1931 by the Soviet astronomer Grigory Neuimin , who worked at the Simeiz Observatory of Crimea , and was named the Russian female name Marina , in honor of the astronomer and neuimin’s colleague at the Pulkovo Observatory Marina Lavrova-Berg [1] [2] .
