RV-1M - a portable tri-band radio station, designed to organize train and station radio communications in railway transport.
Features
The radio station is portable, duplex - simplex , telephone with frequency modulation . Assembled on semiconductor elements using Atmel microcontrollers. The radio station provides simultaneous independent operation in three wavelength ranges - hectometer (GMV), meter (MV) and decimeter (DMV). At the same time, telephone calls can be negotiated in two bands, and discrete data transmission in the third. In later versions (RV-1.1M), the decimeter range is absent.

The radio station is designed to operate at an ambient temperature of −40 ... + 55 ° C and relative humidity up to 93%. The radio station is powered from the onboard DC network of the locomotive. Power consumption - no more than 210 watts.
Work in the telephone mode
The callers are called by group tone dialing. For this, the frequencies corresponding to the called subscriber are transmitted on the air. For example, chipboard - 1400 Hz, DCC - 700 Hz, PMT - 1000 Hz. When you receive a group call with a frequency of 1000 Hz, a tone signal is heard in the loudspeaker, and then a voice call. The call is confirmed by pressing the corresponding button on the control panel or by removing the handset from the holder.
To call a subscriber, the radio station switches to the required range and, if the channel is free, a call is sent by pressing the call button of the corresponding subscriber.
Additional features
- Reception and transmission of a forced stop signal.
- Alert maintenance crews about an approaching train.
- Reception team "Fencing".
- Radio transmission of discrete information from external devices.
- Reception of commands from the dispatcher in the UHF range: “Registration of schedule violation”, “Decrease speed”, “Increase speed”, “Increase alertness”, “Forced braking”, “Green street”, “Delay”, “Conversation”.
