Description
Birds live in subtropical and tropical mountain rainforests , at an altitude of 1400-2700 above sea level [2] , from the state of Tachira (southern Venezuela ) and the Andes Narinho and the valley of the Magdalena River ) ( Colombia ) south to the western slopes of the Andes in northwestern Ecuador to Karchi and through the eastern slopes of the Andes of Ecuador south to the regions of Junin and northern Ayacucho in central Peru [3] . Body length 16 cm [4] , weight about 22 grams [2] .
