Career
In the 2003 NBA draft, the Marquis Daniels was supposed to be the Dallas Mavericks choice in the second round (then head coach Don Nelson drew attention to the player, looking at the recordings of games involving Josh Howard , whom the Dallas planned to choose - and in the end - in the first round). However, for various reasons, this did not happen. Nevertheless, Daniels received an invitation to the Mavericks summer training camp, following which he signed a one-year contract with the team. The debut season was a success for the basketball player - having won 56 of 82 games for Dallas (of which 15 were in the starting lineup), as a result, Marquis Daniels was included in the second NBA rookie team . In the offseason 2004, the player signed with the Mavericks 6-year contract for $ 38 million.
In the offseason 2006, the Marquis Daniels was traded to the Pacers , for which he won the last 3 years of his contract. [1] On September 1, 2009, a player who became a free agent signed an agreement with the Boston Celtics . [2] In February 2011, Daniels was exchanged at Sacramento for a second draft pick. For Kings, however, a basketball player who was treated for the consequences of an injury received on February 6 in a clash with Orlando player Gilbert Arinas did not play a single match. On December 9, 2011, the Marquis Daniels returned to the Celtics, signing a new contract with the team, the terms of which were not disclosed. [3] In the offseason, he signed with Milwaukee Bucks.
