Yavolen was the head of the Sabinian law school. At first he was a legate of the Legion IV of the Happy Flavian Legion in Dalmatia, then in 83 the legate of the III August Legion in Numidia. In 84/86, Yavolen served as chairman of the court in Britain. In September / December 86, Yavolen was a consul-suffice with Aulus Bucius Lapius Maxim. In addition, he was a legate of the provinces of Upper Germany (89 / 90-91 / 92 years), Syria (98 / 99-99 / 100 years) and proconsul of Africa.
Yavolen was a member of the council at Trajan and Adrian . He has written many books, 14 valuable volumes of the Libri epistularum with legal analysis are especially valuable.
