Career
Club
He started his career in the SKA team, a year later he moved to Riga “Pardaugava”, where he played 4 seasons. Then he moved to the Danish club "Vidovre", where he became the league's top scorer. In 1998, he joined the Lukko team from the Finnish SM-League, and in the 2000/2001 season, the right fox forward moved to the German club Iserlohn Roosters . In 2002 he joined the team of the Second League of Russia Nizhny Novgorod “Torpedo”, which successfully passed in the Higher League. A year later he moved to Amur Khabarovsk, but played there half the season (spent the second in Finland). In early 2004, he moved to Switzerland, where he played for three clubs for two years. Later he moved to the Italian “Meran”, and ended his career in the Austrian “Zeltweg”.

In the national team of Latvia he performed from 1993 to 2007, played in 13 tournaments: 11 world championships and two Olympiads of 2002 and 2006.
