Biography

Born on October 17, 1922 in the village of Gusarnikovo, Rostov district, Yaroslavl province [1] . He spent his childhood and youth in the city of Luban ( Tosno district of the Leningrad region ). In 1939 he graduated from 10 classes of the school, in 1940 - the school of FZU . He worked as a mechanic at the factory number 212 in Leningrad . In 1941 he graduated from the 1st Leningrad flying club.

In the army since April 1941. In May 1943 he graduated from the Tambov Military Aviation School of Pilots.

Member of the Great Patriotic War : in July 1943 - November 1944 - senior pilot, flight commander and commander of the air squadron of the 958th assault aviation regiment. He fought on the Volkhov , Leningrad and 3rd Baltic fronts. Participated in the Mginsky , Novgorod-Luga and Pskov-Ostrovsky operations, the liberation of the Baltic states . July 30, 1943 was shell-shocked. In total, he made 112 sorties on the Il-2 attack aircraft , in air battles he personally shot down 1 and in a group of 2 enemy aircraft.

For courage and heroism shown in the battles, by the Decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR dated February 23, 1945, Captain Kabishev Boris Dmitrievich was awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Star medal .

After the war, until 1951 he continued to serve in the combat units of the Air Force; He was the navigator of the assault air regiment, the commander of the air squadron, and the deputy commander of the assault air regiment (in the Moscow Military District ). In 1955 he graduated from the Air Force Academy ( Monino ). He was the commander of the fighter and towing air regiments (in the Moscow Air Defense District ), in 1959-1963 - the commander of a separate test air division (in Central Asia ).

In 1965 he graduated from the Military Academy of the General Staff . He was deputy commander of the 7th Air Defense Corps (in Bryansk ), in 1966-1967 he commanded the 3rd Air Defense Corps (in Yaroslavl ).

In April 1967 - February 1970 - Assistant Representative of the High Command of the Joint Armed Forces of the States Parties to the Warsaw Pact on Air Defense in the Armed Forces of Poland . In 1970-1973 - commander of the 3rd Air Defense Corps (in Yaroslavl ). In August 1973 - July 1976 - commander of the 11th separate air defense army (in the Far East ). In July 1976 - January 1980 - Deputy Commander- in - Chief of the Air Defense Forces of the country for combat training. Since January 1980, Lieutenant General Aviation B. D. Kabishev is in stock.

In 1983-1986 - head of the sector of the Proletarian district executive committee of the city of Moscow, in 1986-1991 - head of department and deputy head of department in the USSR State Committee for Hydrometeorology .

He lived in Moscow . He died on December 5, 1998 . He was buried at the Troekurovsky cemetery in Moscow.
