Etymology
The generally accepted version of the origin of the name "Andeg" does not exist.
A local historian, Alexander Tungusov, believes that Andeg is perhaps the Russified Nenets word “nganda” - translated as “little nelma ” [2] .
The second version is presented by U. A. Istomin: “... The first resident accidentally drove into a sharok (the name of small rivers) and was struck by the abundance of fish in it. Surprised, he exclaimed: "Andeles, suspend!". The word andel (angel) was transformed into Andeg ” [3] .

History
The history of the village of Andeg is associated with Pustozersk , the first polar city founded by the people of Novgorod in 1499. One of the earliest references to Andega dates back to the 17th century . In the census book of the Pustozersk prison and the county of 1678–1679, the voivode G. Y. Tukhachevsky is called “Angoh”.
Lived here
Petrushka Vasilyev, son of Khabarov, with two sons Ilya and Sergushka. The second courtyard of Vaska Borodin was empty, as he lived in the Pustozersk prison, near the Pustozersk archer Yushki Olukhov.
- Matsuk, M.A. Komi region from Boris Godunov to Peter I., 1993 [5] .
In the subsequent censuses, the village is called Andekhskaya, Andeeva, Andevskaya, Angoh, Andeg (since 1883 ).
The most significant documents of the State Archive of the Arkhangelsk Region - materials of audits, were not fully preserved.
The nominal list of males Pustozersky fortress, which states: "7 souls in the Andekh village” is attached to the general report of the Second Revision of 1743 [6] .
The Khabarovs have long lived in the village. Most likely this is the surname of explorers from Veliky Ustyug, who went "meet the sun" in search of new lands, stayed in Pustozersk, remained and settled along the Pechora.
According to the census of 1850, there were 10 Khabarov families living in the village; in 1918, 107 inhabitants. [7]
The main occupation of the population of the village has always been fishing. Until the middle of the XIX century, the inhabitants of Andega were fishing right near the village. It was a lot like white - whitefish, nelma, omuli, and red - salmon. Later, we had to catch it in remote areas: at Brody, in Korovinskaya and Golodnaya Bay, Kurino Gorlo, and others. They salted the fish and exchanged it from merchants in Cherdyn for food, industrial and construction goods. Warehouses of Cherdyntsi stood below the village on Makino. In each household kept livestock: cows, horses, sheep.
The beginning of the 20th century is the years of wars and revolutions. The participant of the first world war and the participant of the October revolution of 1917 was Fenev Timofey Ivanovich. Sharapov Nikolai Vasilyevich participated in the Civil War in the North and participated in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. Both of them came to the North during the period of collectivization.
On February 25, 1930, the commune "Victory" was created in Andega, organized by Khabarov Diodor. Later he was arrested as a White Guard and his fate is not known further. In 1931, the Andeg Fish Market was organized. The commune and the fish market joined the collective farm "North". One of the first chairmen of the collective farm was Khatanzeisky Pyotr Yegorovich.
1941-1945 45 people left the front of Andega. Did not return - 31. Andegchane fought on the Karelian, Leningrad, Volkhov, Baltic and Ukrainian fronts. All those who returned had combat awards, as confirmed by the order books. Victory forged not only at the front, but also in the rear. The entire burden fell on the shoulders of women, old people and schoolchildren. 18 people in Andega were awarded the medal "For Valiant Labor during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945".
After the war, the collective farm grows stronger and thrives. For many years he was a millionaire. For high rates, milkmaids and fishermen receive government awards and become members of VDNH. After perestroika, the collective farm collapsed. In 2001, livestock was eliminated. Now the farm is called SEC RK "Andeg".
To this day, four houses have remained, their age is more than one hundred years. The oldest of them is the house of Khabarov Ignat Ivanovich, built in 1881. The house was built by agreement of the team of the Komi-Izhemtsy, they harvested logs for the house in Komi and delivered them to Andeg. The house is built of larch. Now it belongs to Khabarova Svetlana Nikolaevna.
The next old building is the former Andeg Trinity Church, built in 1893 at the expense of the local rich man Khabarov Evdokim Vasilyevich. It is now part of the Andega High School.
The third building is a collective farm warehouse. On the inner side of the warehouse door there are inscriptions: “1899. On August 17, a barn was built. Peasants of the Arkhangelsk province of the Pechora district of the Krasnoborsk volost of the village of Shchelyayur Makar Z. Filippov. Other inscriptions have been preserved.
The fourth building built in 1905. It belongs to the war invalid Khabarov A.V.
In Andega there is a monument to the “Fallen Countrymen”, which was opened in 1980 to the Victory Day. The author of the monument is P. P. Dibikov - a teacher of labor.
In October 1982, the village opened a museum of military and labor glory of the village of Andeg. The museum's founder was Burkova V.S. - a teacher of geography and biology at Andeg Secondary School.
In June 2005, a chapel in honor of the Holy Trinity was completed in the village, and on June 21, 2005 it was consecrated. The organizer of the construction of the chapel was the fraternity "Andeg", headed at that time by Khabarov Sergey Semenovich. [eight]
