Berdestan [1] [2] [3] , or Berdbestan [1] [2] , or Berdistan [1] [2] ( Persian بردستان ) is a small city in the south of Iran , in the province of Bushehr . Included in the shahrestan Deyer . As of 2006, the population was 5,198 people [3] .

Geography
The city is located in the southern part of Bushehr, on the Hermsir plain, between the coast of the Persian Gulf and the ridges of southwestern Zagros , at an altitude of 8 meters above sea level [1] . Berdestan is located at a distance of approximately 160 kilometers southeast of Bushehr , the provincial capital and 865 kilometers south of Tehran , the country's capital.
