Geography
The settlement was located in the western part of the district. In the south lies the border between Russia and Poland .
History
The Novostroevsky rural settlement was established on June 30, 2008 in accordance with the Law of the Kaliningrad Region No. 259 [2] , it included the territories of the former Nekrasovsky and Novostroyevsky rural districts .
It was abolished in 2014 with the transformation of the Ozyorsk district into the Ozyorsk city district .
