The World Association of Kazakhs (HAC), the World Community of Kazakhs is an international non-governmental organization of republican significance.
It was created in Almaty on September 29, 1992 by decision of the First World Kurultai of Kazakhs . 800 delegates from 33 countries of the world established the World Association of Kazakhs and unanimously elected Nursultan Nazarbayev as Chairman of the Presidium.
Registered by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan on November 3, 1992 as the World Association of Kazakhs .
The association has divisions and representative offices in 19 countries of the world. According to the Association, over 5 million Kazakhs live outside of Kazakhstan in 43 countries of the world. [one]
The main goal of the Association is to maintain communication with foreign compatriots on issues of cultural and spiritual development, education and business.
It has the Atazhurt Publishing Center, a library, and the Art Center. The Association's assets include monographs in Russian and Kazakh languages: “Historical Fates of the Kazakh Diaspora. Origin and development ”(G. Mendikulova, 2006) with the section“ Activities of the World Association of Kazakhs and the World Kurultai of Kazakhs ”and the joint monograph“ станzbekstandany қазақтардың tariffi ә zhne bүngіngu damuy ”(Қoblandin Қ., Медіқұлова G. M., 2009.

The Chairman of the Presidium of the Association is the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Nursultan Abishevich Nazarbayev . The first deputy chairman of the World Association of Kazakhs since 2004 [2] is Talgat Mamashev . In 2003, the first deputy chairman of the World Association of Kazakhs was Kaldarbek Naimanbaev .
