Biography

Born on November 8, 1941 in Tbilisi ( Georgian SSR ).

He graduated from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology in 1966 with a degree in experimental nuclear physics, defended his thesis in 1974, and his doctorate in 1986. Professor since 1992.

  • From November 1967 to August 2002, he worked at the Institute of High Energy Physics (IHEP, Protvino): successively a junior researcher , team leader, SPS , laboratory head with the assignment of duties as deputy department head, laboratory head, and chief scientific officer.
  • August 13, 2002 dismissed from the Institute of High Energy Physics. The order of dismissal indicated: for truancy. In fact, the reason for the dismissal was a divergence of views with the administration on prospects [2] .
  • From May 2003 to January 2006 he was the chief specialist of the Space Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences .
  • From February 2006 to December 2008, he was the head of the department at the Scientific Research Center for Electronic Computing Technology OJSC.
  • From April to June 2009 he worked at the Polytechnic Museum as a leading researcher.
  • From September 2009 to June 2010 he was the head of the sector at the Federal State Unitary Enterprise Moscow Radio Engineering Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences .
  • From July 2010 to October 2011 he worked as the chief scientific associate of the Institute of the History of Natural Science and Technology. S. I. Vavilova RAS .

Scientific Achievements

He took part in the design, creation and study of automation systems for experiments in high-energy physics . Under his leadership, a number of international projects on new dual-use information technologies were implemented, supported by grants from the Ministry of Science, Higher School and Technical Policy of the Russian Federation , the Russian Federal Property Fund and the European Union .

Winner of the USSR Council of Ministers Prize for Science and Technology in 1984.

In 2001, under the leadership of Stanislav Klimenko, the first installation of a virtual environment in Russia and the first in the world were created on one personal computer. The installation was demonstrated at the CeBIT '2002 International Exhibition and at the anniversary conference and exhibition dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Russian Federal Property Fund.

He has published over 300 scientific papers and 6 monographs.

For more than 15 years he was deputy head of the IHEP base department. Under the leadership of Klimenko S.V. and under the auspices of IHEP-MIPT, the School for Automation of Scientific Research has been operating for 10 years. Under his leadership, defended more than 30 dissertations and 15 master's theses. He was a visiting professor at South Bohemian University ( Czech Jihočeská univerzita v Českých Budějovicích ) in Ceske Budejovice , Nanyang University of Technology in Singapore and Tamkang University in Taiwan .

Stanislav Klimenko was a member of international professional organizations:

He was an expert at the Russian Federal Property Fund in the areas of "oriented fundamental research" and "the creation and development of information, computing and telecommunications resources for basic research"; as well as an expert on information technology in the European Union; participated in the evaluation of the scientific work of the Fraunhofer Institute for Media Communications (as part of an international group of experts); It is registered in the Federal Register of Experts in Science and Technology under the Ministry of Industry and Science of Russia (Certificate No.11313707.1430).

He was a member of the RFBR Expert Council on Telecommunications and Information Systems. In 2016-2018 - Chairman of the dissertation council on a scientific specialty 05.01.01 at the Nizhny Novgorod State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering .

Family

Wife - Lyubov Andreevna Klimenko (Lusheva) (since 1967). Sons - Vladimir (1967) and Andrey (1973), grandchildren - Anastasia, Alisa, Elena and Stanislav.
