The Turkmen State Puppet Theater ( Turkmen. Türkmen Döwlet gurjak teatry ) is the only puppet theater in Turkmenistan located in Ashgabat on Independence Avenue .

The repertoire of the troupe has almost 40 plays.
Building
The building was built in 2004 - 2005 by the Turkish company Polymex on Independence Avenue . The cost of the building is 15 million US dollars [2] . The area of the Puppet Theater is 7600 square meters [3] . Performances are held in two halls with 300 and 200 seats.
