Shrines
Until 1917, according to archpriest Andrei Sulotsky, the most revered shrines in the territory of the Kainsky district were the miraculous icon of St.. Paraskeva, located in the chapel near the holy well in the vicinity of the village of Voznesenskoye (now Voznesenka , Vengerovsky district, Novosibirsk region), as well as the locally venerated icon of St. Nicholas in the village of Osinovye Kolki , the venerated list of the Kazan Icon of Our Lady in the village of Dmitrievskaya Volost, and the locally venerated icon of St. Catherine in the village Bukhtarma. In these settlements regularly made pilgrimages to worship the shrines. Decades after a complete ruin, in 1995, the tradition of pilgrimages to one of these shrines was revived - the holy well in the tract Polovinka near the village of Voznesenka, Vengerovsky district, where, according to legend, the miraculous icon of St. Nicholas appeared no later than the middle of the 19th century. Paraskeva (the icon itself is considered lost). Water from the well is considered healing, in 2005 a canopy with a dome and a cross was installed above it.
Particularly revered is the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, which is kept in the Pokrovsky Church of the city of Tatarsk, which was donated to the parish in Tatarsk, in 1912 by a group of immigrants, and miraculously survived the period of persecution. The Iberian Icon of the Mother of God, which is preserved in the Church of the Nativity of John the Forerunner of the city of Kainsk, was also particularly revered. The icon in the Iberian Chapel of Moscow is consecrated.
