“Fogee is a Real Bastard” ( Fr. F. est un salaud ) is a 1998 drama film based on a book by the German-speaking Swiss writer Frank Martin. [1] The film was shown at the Locarno Film Festival, the Toronto Film Festival and the Montreal International Film Festival. [2]

Content
Story
The action takes place in Switzerland in 1973. Sixteen-year-old Beni is madly in love with a rock musician named Fogi. The guy writes a letter to his idol, in which he declares his love. Fogi is gay and, although the guy’s letter was an unexpected surprise for him, he was not averse to starting a relationship. Beni follows Fogie like a dog’s tail. He loves with unlimited devotion and admiration, but despite this, he feels very lonely. Fogi begins to use the guy. Beni's innocence is destroyed by sex , alcohol, drugs , destructive music, and her lover's sadistic passion. He begins to engage in prostitution in order to be able to pay for drugs for Foga. In the final, Fogi decides to commit suicide . Beni follows him here too. Fogi dies of an overdose of drugs. Beni survives.
