Yakhroma is a river in Russia , flows in the Vladimir region . The source is located near the village of Andreevskoye. It flows past the settlements of Nebyly , Zhelezovo , Chekovo , Vasilyevka Nebylovsky rural settlement . The mouth of the river is 58 km along the left bank of the Koloksha River near the village of Chuvashikha . The river is 19 km long and has a catchment area of 48.8 km².

The name of the Orthodox saint Kosma Yakhromsky , who discovered a miraculous icon of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary on a tree near the river, is associated with the Yakhroma River. Soon after, Cosmas (unknown name in the world) went to Kiev and took monastic tonsure at the Pechersky Monastery .
