Sean Patrick Hayes ( born Sean Patrick Hayes ; born June 26, 1970 , Glen-Ellen , Chicago , Illinois , USA ) is an American actor, comedian, singer and producer. He was best known for his role as Jack McFarland in the sitcom “ Will and Grace ” (1998-2006, 2017 - present ). For his role, he won an Emmy Award, four awards from the United States Film Actors Guild , and also received six Golden Globe Award nominations.

Biography
Hayes, of Irish descent, was born in Illinois in the family of Mary and Ronald Hayes [1] [2] . He was raised in Roman Catholic traditions [3] . After graduating from Glenbard West High School in Glen Ellen (Illinois), Hayes entered the University of Illinois [2] .
Sean moved to Los Angeles in 1995, where he initially worked as a comedian . A year later, he got a role in one episode of the series " Silk Nets " [4] .
In 1998, Hayes got the main role in the movie " Billy 's Hollywood Kiss ", and also begins to play the role of Jack McFarland in the sitcom " Will and Grace ". This series brings world-famous fame to the aspiring actor and many professional awards, including the Emmy Award [5] .
Hayes then receives many more roles: Jerry Lewis in the television movie Martin and Lewis (2002), Wayne in April Celebration (2003), Richard Levy in Meet the Star (2004), and the supporting role in the film “ Until I played in the box ” [4] , where Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman became his filming partners.
The debut of Sean Hayes on Broadway took place with Christine Chenovet in April 2010 in the musical Promises, Promises . For this role, the actor was nominated for the Tony Theater Award. He also hosted the 64th Tony Awards on June 13, 2010 at CBS [6] .
In 2017, Sean voiced the character Steven from the movie Emoji Movie .
Personal life
For many years, Hayes refused to discuss his sexual orientation , but in 2010 he talked about his homosexuality [7] . In November 2014, he married his partner, composer Scott Aysenogl, after eight years of relationship [8] .
