Career
In the World Cup, Kohlberg made his debut in 1982 , then the only time in his career he got into the top three at the World Cup stage. In addition, he has in his account 3 hits in the top ten at the stages of the World Cup. Kohlberg's best achievement in the overall World Cup standings is 16th in the 1981/82 season.
At the 1980 Olympic Games in Lake Placid , he took 5th place in the relay, 13th place in the 30 km race and 17th place in the 15 km race.
At the 1984 Olympic Games in Sarajevo , he won gold in the relay, in addition, he was 19th in the 15 km race as a classic.
