Saratov State District Power Plant is a thermal power station located in the city of Saratov , the administrative center of the Saratov region . State District Power Station is a subdivision of the Saratov branch of PJSC T Plus - (formerly OJSC VoTGK).

History
- 1925 - GOELRO decision on the construction of the Saratov state district power station [1] .
- 1926 - the beginning of construction.
- 1930 - 3 Sterling boilers and 2 turbogenerators were installed.
- 1932 - 2 Sterling boilers, 1 turbogenerator were installed.
- 1941 - 2 FT-40 boilers, 1 turbogenerator were installed.
- 1942 - the station switches to the use of natural gas (according to the order of the Council of People's Commissars of the USSR) [2] .
- 1951 - 2 BKZ-75 boilers, 1 turbogenerator were installed.
- 1972 - 2 PTVM-100 boilers were installed.
- 2001 - a boiler E-50-39-440GM was installed.
- 2002 - a turbogenerator P12-35 / 1,2 was installed
- 2009 - the boiler E-75-39-440GM was installed. [3] [4] .
Significance for the city
Saratov State District Power Plant was one of the first energy facilities not only in Saratov, but also in the USSR .
In 1942, GRES was the first in the USSR to switch to the use of natural gas. During the Great Patriotic War, the Saratov State District Power Plant ensured the production activities of Saratov enterprises [1] .
Until now, the symbol of the GOELRO era has been preserved at the station: the oldest operating lamp of Russia is working on the main control panel of the station.
State Power Station today
To date, 8 power boilers with a total steam capacity of 545 t / h and 5 turbine generators with a total capacity of 54 MW, 2 PTVM-100 boilers with a total capacity of 150 Gcal have been installed at the state district power station [3] .
The state district power station provides coverage of thermal loads of hot water to consumers of the residential sector of the central part of Saratov, as well as to a number of city enterprises (in particular, a feed mill).
